Harriet Tubman Collection
Liberated. Relentless. Hero.
Known as the “Moses of her people,” Harriet Tubman was enslaved, escaped, an helped others gain their freedom as a “conductor" of the Underground Railroad. In a decade she helped over 300 slaves escape to the North, never losing a single “passenger” along the way and never letting anyone turn back. If that wasn’t heroic enough, Harriet went on to serve as the first black woman in the Union Army and played a pivotal role in the fight for women’s suffrage.
