The Story

To wear a feather is to take on the power of the bird, putting the wearer in touch with the knowledge of the birds and with their transcendent and instinctual knowledge and power. Freya, the Norse goddess of love, fertility and beauty, possessed a cloak of raven feathers for the purposes of shapeshifting.
